Alana Thompson’s I Was Honey Boo Boo Explosive Preview
It is no secret that Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson had anything but an average upbringing. She was featured in pageants as a toddler and soon moved on to her own reality series. It showcased her mother, Mama June, and three sisters, Jessica, Pumpkin, and Anna, plus her dad, Sugar Bear. They were a trainwreck family, and as time went on, it was revealed that Mama June stole Alana’s money. She spent around one million dollars on her addiction and lost everything, including the family’s trust. Now, Alana is narrating the true story about her life.

In the I Was Honey Boo Boo trailer, Alana is seen narrating the film, which begins when she is a child. Her younger self (Vale Cooper) is using Alana’s infamous “A Dolla Makes Me Holla” catchphrase. She is also seen going to pageant competitions with Mama June (Chelsea Larkin) by her side. It becomes abundantly clear that Alana was the breadwinner of the family, and June used that to her advantage. She says this:
“Mama’s little money maker. We about to be rolling in it.”
At one point, it comes out that June stole all of Alana’s reality television earnings. Alana Thompson has this to say about Mama June:
“It was always the same thing. I wanted mama, but her love was only transactional.”

At the end of the trailer, Alana says this:
“For the first time, I feel free.”
It is unclear how Mama June feels about this portrayal, but Alana is very excited to share this movie with her fans. This was a very long and tumultuous journey, and now, her side gets to be completely told, the way she wants it to be
