MORMON Wives villain Demi Engemann seemingly confirmed she is quitting the show after its fourth season in a subtle social media move.
Demi, 30, has been besieged with backlash by fans and fellow cast members alike after a series of scandals rocked the Hulu reality show, all of which seemed to have the star at, or very near, the epicenter.
In a social media post by the celebrity gossip entity Deuxmoi, they posted a tip they received in their inbox.
The tip read, “Anon please! Can confirm SLOMW is working on a spinoff show in California, Whitney was connected, but now departing. Demi is also exiting after this season.”
Demi appeared to reshare the post to her followers, but has since deleted the action.
In photos and videos exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun earlier this week, Demi appeared unfazed by her seemingly new direction away from the smash hit reality series.
The former best friend of fellow star Jessi Ngatikaura, 33, has found herself inextricably linked to every major drama on the show, and in doing so has caught backlash and even a lawsuit in the aftermath.
Demi allegedly fanned the flames of the apparently false rumor that Jessi, who is married to Jordan Ngatikaura, had slept with Vanderpump Villa’s Marciano Brunette.
Jessi later admitted to kissing and an emotional affair, though a lie-detector test Jessi and Marciano took on the Hulu show seemed to confirm the pair did not actually have sex.
Demi also claimed that Marciano sexually assaulted her after he claimed he and Demi, who is married to former NFL player Bret Engemann, kissed on the lips during the crossover taping at the Villa in Rome.
Marciano has vehemently denied any allegations of any unwanted touching of Demi, including in an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun.
In that interview, he told us that he was preparing to sue her, and now he has.
Marciano filed a federal lawsuit against Demi over her allegations.
Also, after roundly pissing off Jessi for her embellished claims about the Marciano affair, the hairdresser dropped a pretty graphic tidbit about Demi’s sex life in her marriage to Bret.
FRUITY PEBBLES GATE, BRET & DEMI UNBOTHERED
The married couple appeared undisturbed by the uncomfortable disclosure made by Demi’s former best friend, Jessi Ngatikaura.
The hairdresser alleged that Bret, 48, and his significantly younger wife had participated in a sexual act involving urine, which they dubbed “Fruity Pebbles,” a phrase that turned into a recurring joke in Season 1.
Jessi stated: “Since she wants to be petty and be an a**hole, I think I am just going to go ahead and say that grandpa Bret likes to [redacted] like it is dirty soda.”
Demi subsequently released a comment, clarifying that the action was a “private moment” shared between the husband and wife.
