Mama June’s daughter, Pumpkin Efird, and her ex-husband, Josh Efird, have been accused of cheating on each other. Although it looked like Pumpkin was the bad one, it may be reciprocal. So, what are people saying about the exes? Keep reading for more details.
Josh & Pumpkin Both Guilty Of Cheating
When Josh and Pumpkin Efird announced their split, it came out that she had a new boyfriend. Pumpkin was allegedly dating Josh’s cousin, Darrin Kitchens. Moreover, they had been together for several months prior, and he was posting photos of her hanging out in his house. They eventually confirmed their romance and have been inseparable ever since. As for Josh, he was allegedly dating one of Darrin’s baby mamas, but now, he has just welcomed a new baby with someone else. It is unclear what the final straw was for the couple and why they divorced when they did.
Recently, it came out that Pumpkin had been unfaithful with a woman, and it was very serious. Furthermore, she had supposedly told this woman she and Josh were in the middle of a divorce when they were not. Now, it has come out that Josh was also cheating. Someone shared this tea about the father of five:
- He is no good!!! These girls got it right. He talked to me for a while when he was with pumpkin for a few months (unknown to me) & sending $ for spicy stuff… but like who am I to tell pumkin
This came after another person stated that she had an affair with Josh in South Carolina. He had been working there at the time, so both he and Pumpkin were cheating on each other left and right. Of course, some Mama June fans were shocked as they believed she was the main one cheating. However, that has proven to be false, as he was also likely just as bad.
There were also questions about them being in an open relationship, so if that were the case, who is really guilty?
What Do Fans Believe?
At this point, what do Mama June fans believe about Pumpkin and Josh Efird? Do they think that the two were openly unfaithful, had an open marriage, or were doing this secretly? The feelings were very mixed, especially since Pumpkin is dating Josh’s cousin, and has been for over a year:
- I mean she and Josh were in a so-called open relationship and cheated on each other constantly, so why would this bother her? She learned at her Momma’s knees how to “relationship”.
- Well apparently she and Josh had an open relationship. I feel like in her mind it doesn’t matter because she’s the “main” woman or some stupid sh*t like that. 🙃

It looks like no one saw the issue with her being with a woman while they were married and him doing whatever he pleased. Hopefully, this new season will shed more light on what went wrong.
