Mama June TURNS THE TABLES: Destroys Alana Thompson’s ‘Transactional Love’ Accusations!

Mama June Shannon is slamming her daughter, Alana Thompson’s, “transactional love” claims. Alana called her mother out in her new Lifetime original film, I Was Honey Boo Boo. In it, she documents her mother using her as the breadwinner. So, what is June saying after hearing that? Keep reading for further details.
Mama June Slams Alana Thompson’s ‘Transactional Love’ Claims
In the new Lifetime movie, I Was Honey Boo Boo, Alana Thompson narrates her life story. She shares what it was like being on reality television at a very young age and being the breadwinner. It also delves deep into Mama June stealing her hard-earned cash to live lavishly and feed her addiction. At one point, Alana can be seen saying that her love with June was “transactional.” This is her opinion and her version of what happened, but fans and followers are well aware that June stole her money.

Unfortunately, June did not take too kindly to the accusation that the love was all about money. Rather, she feels that her children were the ones who used her. She stated that she never used her kids for a “paycheck,” but did feel that gifts were the way for them to love her:
“The way that I was brought up is showing your love with money or an item and that’s just the way that it had always been. So my love language was always to buy people things or to get my kids’ attention for a long time, I would give them money or I would give them something.”
June had been somewhat absent from Alana’s life, and after getting sober, ran off to meet a man. She returned home with her new boyfriend, Justin Stroud. When Alana’s sixteenth birthday approached, Mama June popped in out of nowhere with gifts. However, it could not make up for her taking and selling everything from underneath her girls.
After all that June and Alana Thompson have gone through, they will never be as close as they once were. Furthermore, June seems to want viewers to take the new movie with a grain of salt.
